There are plenty of sites offering model related links; so rather than compete with them this website will remain relatively 'link' free. However the following links may be useful to you. Please report any broken links to the .

Support your local model shops - they are few and far between now.

While we all like Internet bargains model shops offer advice and the chance to get your hands on the goods before you buy. Also good for browsing and finding that little widget you didn't know existed and until you saw it didn't know you desperately needed!!

The BMFA web site provides a vast amount of useful information, including Articles for Sale, Discussion Forums and News pages. 

It includes links to all other BMFA clubs, plus model shops and model related matters.

Met Office page for the Basingstoke area: today's weather plus five day forecast.

Wind map: direct graphical display of wind speeds plus a five day forecast.

Use this site to learn the actual wind speed at many UK  airfields. Odiham or Farnborogh are nearest to us.

Also gives the wind speed over the last three hours so you can judge the trend.
