General Sports Models:
Models that do not necessarily represent a scale model of a full size aircraft or that have been designed specifically for model flying purposes.
These are typical of the models flown at our Blacklands site.
YouTube videos by Alan Bahia including Scale Competition 2010, WW1 Dog Fights, and Snow flying.

Gliders & Electric:
Otherwise know as silent flight (not strictly true). These are flown at either our dedicated site at Eastworldham or at Blacklands
We also have an active aero-tow contingent that fly regularly at Blacklands.

Scale:
Scale models represent full size aircraft. The relative level of detail is up to the modeller. We hold regular well attended Scale Competitions which allow all types of scale models to take part. There is a bias towards WW1 and WW2 types - it allows us to stage mock dog-fights! See video.

Helicopters:
A few brave souls fly helicopter models at our Blacklands site; both i.c. and electric..
Indoor:
A series of indoor evenings are arranged each year for those interested in flying the very small and slow models of this genre..
All weathers and all types:
We fly all year round - winter & summer, and we welcome all types as demonstrated......
We are probably one of a very few clubs that have active female flyers, so come on ladies why not join us as well?
Steve Prideaux SuperBandit Video
We do not fly jet turbines at either site but a couple of videos of Steve's stunning performance at Blackbushe have been posted on YouTube.
